Trocadeiro AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buford Harris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, Novorizontino's Buford Harris made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damiano Federici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Buford Harris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damiano Federici came out and tried to block the shot, but Buford Harris slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rab Fode kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damiano Federici. That made the score 4-0 in the 19 minute of play. Trocadeiro AD's Damiano Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Kresťanko in the 26th minute of play. Wilfred Heebels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Damiano Federici made a huge save. When Buford Harris, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Damiano Federici was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match, Wilfred Heebels got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damiano Federici was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Trocadeiro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Buford Harris came free, but Damiano Federici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cido Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Buford Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Federici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfred Heebels in the 39th minute. After 45 played minutes Novorizontino got a freekick which was hit by Buford Harris.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Buford Harris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Buford Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Trocadeiro AD booed when Novorizontino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buford Harris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Trocadeiro AD's Cido Cearense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséas Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Rab Fode cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Damiano Federici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Novorizontino getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Olívio Abreu hit a great ball. Cido Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Federici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rab Fode went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Damiano Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buford Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Trocadeiro AD's Damiano Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buford Harris in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Novorizontino had played much better football throughout.
