Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aimé Dufay took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Louis Scheunchen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro de Lima. Trucu AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louis Scheunchen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Trucu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Trucu AD's Hílton Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Vítor Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Scheunchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Marques got free with João Vítor Quirino in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Orleans FC's zone, Nicolas Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Quirino came out of the goal and Nicolas Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Trucu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, Orleans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Orleans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Ceresso came free, but João Vítor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Artur Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but João Vítor Quirino made a huge save.

The wind increased when Nicolas Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. Trucu AD's Valdemar de Queirós couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Orleans FC. João Vítor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Marques in the 56th minute of play. Norberto Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Louis Scheunchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match Aimé Dufay climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Ciro de Lima. Artur Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Nicolas Ceresso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Quirino. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Aimé Dufay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orleans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimé Dufay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Ceresso in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Vítor Quirino saved Orleans FC from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
