If Paulo José Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lenílson Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cilandia's Betão Donatello suffered a sore foot after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 19th minute, Tiago Gabriel Goiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Neo Walker Clube's Adriano Miranda didn't even have to move. Adriano Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Roberto Veiga in the 27th minute. Walmyr Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zé Roberto Veiga, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adriano Miranda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ricardinho Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardinho Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. When Zé Roberto Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cilandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Roberto Veiga couldn't finish the play. Vitório Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Roberto Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Adriano Miranda made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Veiga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Melo in the 53rd minute of play forced Neo Walker Clube's goalkeeper Adriano Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cilandia's Zé Roberto Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Neo Walker Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Rodrigues. 61 minutes into the game, Vitório Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cilandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neo Walker Clube the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Veiga in the 70th minute of play forced Neo Walker Clube's goalkeeper Adriano Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Brito having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ricardinho Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Neo Walker Clube's Adriano Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Veiga in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cilandia fully deserved thier win.
