Spectators: 5850 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) Edgar Paiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Edgar Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coroa SS's Célio Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Coroa SS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rômulo Pereira hit a great ball. Alfredão Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredão Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Paiva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Célio Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Edgar Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Célio Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute of the match Cleiton Valadares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Paraíba skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coroa SS's zone, Edgar Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Arruda came out of the goal and Edgar Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Edgar Paiva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Célio Arruda. The goal made the score 2-0. Edgar Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. If Thomás Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Nildo Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredão Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Maciel made a kick off. Humberto Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, Cacau's Edgar Paiva made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the game, Thomás Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coroa SS the free kick. After 65 played minutes Cacau got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Leão. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Jailson Ramalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edgar Paiva struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Célio Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacau. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Paiva in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Arruda saved Coroa SS from getting behind. Thomás Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Arruda having to interfere. Célio Arruda came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacau's Edgar Paiva. But to his dismay, Edgar Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Edgar Paiva struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Célio Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacau. 95 minutes into the match, Edgar Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio Arruda. Coroa SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cacau had played much better football throughout.
