Caco Monteiro came out of the goal and Léo Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sede SS's David Sá got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Léo Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Deliciosa's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Guedes came free, but Magno Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Chicão Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caco Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Hamílton Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deliciosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deliciosa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paulinho Zanette hit a great ball. Magno Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Guedes in the 82nd minute of play. If Chicão Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Monteiro having to interfere.
