Juarês Moreira had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pedro Luiz Paraense from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 18 minutes into the game, Percevejo's Mathias Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Alagoano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Giovanni Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Novaes in the 21st minute of the match. Mathias Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Giovanni Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rui Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Esporte Clube Campos Jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Veiga couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Clube Campos Jr's zone, Mathias Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Alagoano came out of the goal and Mathias Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Percevejo got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Valle. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. Esporte Clube Campos Jr's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Acácio Pena in the 53rd minute. If Pedro Luiz Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sidney Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Giovanni Alagoano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mathias Senna struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Giovanni Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Percevejo. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fred Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Campos Jr's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mathias Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Cardoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Giovanni Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Novaes in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Pedro Luiz Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Campos Jr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luiz Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Campos Jr's goalkeeper Giovanni Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Novaes. Manoel Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Moreira having to interfere. When Pedro Luiz Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Esporte Clube Campos Jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Paraense couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Manoel Fontes sped through Percevejo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juarês Moreira. 96 minutes into the match, Percevejo's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Paraense came free, but Juarês Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esporte Clube Campos Jr were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
