Clovis FC's Carlos Augusto Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Falcão Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Braga having to interfere. Dieguinho Cruz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cacá Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Falcão Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Paulista having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovânio Paulista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute, Filipe Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
