An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Martins in the 8th minute of play forced Araras EC's goalkeeper Mazarópi Segundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Araras EC booed when Botafogo MZRJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Dito Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Segundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Araras EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Soares came free, but Mazarópi Segundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Dito Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mazarópi Segundo came out of the goal and Falcão Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Deivid Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araras EC and the Botafogo MZRJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deivid Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Araras EC's goalkeeper Mazarópi Segundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dito Soares. Eriberto Braga came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Araras EC's Valeriu Magherescu. But to his dismay, Valeriu Magherescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Valeriu Magherescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Braga. Botafogo MZRJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Magherescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Rezende came free, but Eriberto Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Botafogo MZRJ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Yan Botelho hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Deivid Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araras EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Araras EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
