Cléber Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Nunes having to interfere. Duda Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivotris FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vulcanos the free kick. 28 minutes into the game, one of Rivotris FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Vulcanos a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gugu Quaresma, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rivotris FC's Eurico de Sena. 0-1. If Jânio Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Nunes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gugu Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jânio Porto made a kick off. Ronaldão Sampaio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Gugu Quaresma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivotris FC's Eurico de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jânio Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Eurico de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gugu Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico de Sena having to interfere. Eurico de Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Porto's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Jânio Porto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eurico de Sena, 0-2. Jânio Porto in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eurico de Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Rivotris FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ronaldão Sampaio hit a great ball. Eurico de Sena was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Jânio Porto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jânio Porto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Eurico de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Porto in the 82nd minute of the match. Eurico de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Quaresma in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vulcanos's Armando Berger got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rivotris FC's Eduardo Veloso tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
