With a little luck, Sporting Clube Paulista's Iurie Velicu got control of the ball when Walmir Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Eusébio Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Sousa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sporting Clube Paulista's Antônio Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Walmir Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaccacahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmir Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Velicu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Galvão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 59th playminute. Antônio Galvão struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. After 71 minutes, Afonsinho Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaccacahy and the Sporting Clube Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Vaccacahy got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Sousa. Richard Zanette made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Antônio Galvão sent off a good shot on target. Eusébio Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Zanette having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Vaccacahy's goalkeeper Richard Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Galvão. In the 85th minute, Antônio Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lino Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Walmir Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vaccacahy fans jumped to their feet. Lino Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Antônio Galvão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Richard Zanette 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Sporting Clube Paulista left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vaccacahy.
