Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio Secco started the match with the kick off. Arí Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Mandrak in the 10th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Horácio Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarquari EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salvador F.C the free kick. Arí Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes, Salvador F.C's Victor de Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arí Velasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salvador F.C reached it. Frederico Arce hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Silvinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven-Oskar Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascal Krijnenburg during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Salvador F.C got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Krijnenburg. During the 33rd minute of the match Pascal Krijnenburg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pascal Krijnenburg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th minute, Pascal Krijnenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Secco in the 35th minute of play forced Salvador F.C's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Rocha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Jarquari EC's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Mandrak came free, but Arí Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Mandrak to make the kick off. Salvador F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Álvaro Mandrak in the 53rd minute. Samuca de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arí Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Álvaro Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arí Velasco. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of Jarquari EC booed when Salvador F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvinho Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Pedro de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jarquari EC booed when Salvador F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Arí Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salvador F.C. In the 74th match minute, Jarquari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Rocha to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Salvador F.C's Álvaro Mandrak in action when he in the 77th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Fábio Neto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tzvyatko Brusev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arí Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Álvaro Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salvador F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes, Kléberson Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarquari EC and the Salvador F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Kléberson Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Álvaro Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Mandrak in the 94th minute of the match. Álvaro Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Salvador F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
