Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gerencia's Zé Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cacá Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Antunes in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Ibicuitinga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Antunes came free, but Cacá Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cacá Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Ibicuitinga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Antunes came free, but Cacá Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Pires in the 33rd minute. Tony Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cacá Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibicuitinga SS's Cacá Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Antunes in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Fernandinho Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibicuitinga SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Ibicuitinga SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aloísio Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aloísio Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aloísio Soares hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Edgar de Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cacá Salgado skillfully saved the ball. If Fernandinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Pontes in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ibicuitinga SS's Luisão Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Tony Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Edgar de Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cacá Salgado. Ibicuitinga SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cacá Salgado came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gerencia's Zé Antunes. But to his dismay, Zé Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Tony Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Antunes in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ibicuitinga SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
