In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraial's goalkeeper Richard Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Maraial played a much better game than Carice and deserved their victory. The Carice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
