Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Condeuba's Pedrinho Botelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Mucurata's zone, Pedrinho Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Mumbach came out of the goal and Pedrinho Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Francisco Sá sped through Condeuba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Pereira. Reynaldo Mumbach made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Olavo Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Pedrinho Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Reynaldo Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Mumbach having to make a save. Baltazar Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Mucurata got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Queirós. 19 minutes into the match, Condeuba's Olavo Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Mumbach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Condeuba's David Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Alagoano in the 24th minute of play. Olavo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Mumbach having to interfere. Pedrinho Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Mumbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Pedrinho Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Condeuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Botelho couldn't finish the play. Pedrinho Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Mumbach having to interfere. If Olavo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Condeuba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kléber Teixeira in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute, Pedrinho Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeu Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramón das Neves hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mucurata's Reynaldo Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Botelho in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Pedrinho Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Mumbach. Mucurata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cícero Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Reynaldo Mumbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Alagoano in the 71st minute of the match. Faustão Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Reynaldo Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Olavo Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Reynaldo Mumbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Pedrinho Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Mumbach was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Reynaldo Mumbach came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Condeuba's Pedrinho Botelho. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1.
