Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeu Alagoano got the match started through his kick off. Tadeu Alagoano took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válter Alagoano. Válter Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Tadeu Alagoano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Válter Alagoano. The goal made the score 2-0. After taking down the ball on Portel's corner Dieguinho Esteves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Mumbach quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Tavares got free with Válter Alagoano in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mucurata getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Baltazar Queirós hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Guto Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mucurata's Reynaldo Mumbach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Portel got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Valle. Mucurata's Reynaldo Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Fantini in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mucurata's zone, Guto Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Mumbach came out of the goal and Guto Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dieguinho Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, one of Portel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portel. The goalkeeper, Válter Alagoano, was totally fooled by Mucurata's Valdir Ramos, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Portel booed when Mucurata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Toledo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Tadeu Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portel's Válter Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Válter Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Sá in the 56th minute of play. Válter Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Sá in the 57th minute of the match. If João Francisco Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Mucurata's Tadeu Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Válter Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuca Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guto Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guto Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Reynaldo Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Francisco Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón das Neves during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ramón das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guto Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Mumbach having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Valdir Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válter Alagoano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mucurata had won after a very even match.
