Parecy EC's Narciso Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedé da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Pilaozinho's goalkeeper Hílton Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Cosme. A hard shot 20 in the game by Narciso Cosme from a close distance when the talented Hílton Catarinense managed to make a qualified save. Pilaozinho's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the match, Pilaozinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Guimarães came free, but Hílton Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Narciso Cosme in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Mello in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Roberto Trancoso saved Parecy EC from getting behind. In the 38th minute Dedé da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé da Silveira was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Parecy EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé da Silveira came free, but Zé Roberto Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Trancoso came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilaozinho's Dedé da Silveira. But to his dismay, Dedé da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hílton Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Cosme in the 61st minute of the match. Hílton Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gino Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Catarinense was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Cosme in the 70th minute of play forced Pilaozinho's goalkeeper Hílton Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dedé da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Parecy EC got a freekick which was hit by Silas Perez. Dráusio Gaúcho hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Dedé da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Roberto Trancoso having to make a save. The Parecy EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pilaozinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
