Moisés Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Amorim struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Moisés Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Traripe. Nilson Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Traripe getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Amauri Braga hit a great ball. A hard shot 59 in the game by Lenílson Abraão from a close distance when the talented Nilson Vides managed to make a qualified save. Traripe's players were relieved. Wellington Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nilson Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lenílson Abraão in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nilson Vides, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Moisés Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match Bernardo Moraes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lenílson Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Wellington Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC VI de Setembro's Carlos Xavier suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Miguel Arruda's late challenge caught a EC VI de Setembro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Traripe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Arruda to maneuver through the defense.
