João Paulo Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Gomes in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Jardim booed when Matariz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Atlético Jardim's Abelardo Eger made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deivid Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Jardim's Yan Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Yan Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Jardim's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abelardo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Matariz's Mathias Novaes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Yan Cruz struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Deivid Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Jardim. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Cruz in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deivid Cerezo saved Matariz from getting behind. When Atlético Jardim's Yan Cruz in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matariz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, Abelardo Eger made a precise shot to the right of Deivid Cerezo. Matariz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Serafim Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Vides. Atlético Jardim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafim Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Gomes in the 56th minute of play forced Atlético Jardim's goalkeeper João Paulo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. João Paulo Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Nogueira in the 62nd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Sidnei Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matariz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Vides made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Serafim Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Matías Freire hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Atlético Jardim's goalkeeper João Paulo Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Nogueira. Jonas Mangueira helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Eurico Barbosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Matariz's Deivid Cerezo didn't even have to move. The Matariz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
