Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Humberto Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Couto having to make a save. Piuval FC's Frederico Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Soares in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Conrado Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermínio Mandrak, 1-0. Frederico Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Cerezo in the 14th minute of play. Hermínio Mandrak came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Piuval FC's Antônio Zilles. But to his dismay, Antônio Zilles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Zé Paulo Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Humberto Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Frederico Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Cerezo in the 28th minute of play. When Salqueiro SC's Humberto Cerezo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piuval FC's goalie prevented a goal. Víktor Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, one of Piuval FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piuval FC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, André Luís França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Arlindo Freire sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Mandrak skillfully saved the ball. Agenor Batista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederico Couto came out and tried to block the shot, but Agenor Batista slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. After having played for 67 minutes, João Carlos Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piuval FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute João Carlos Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piuval FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arlindo Freire in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Piuval FC's corner Arlindo Freire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hermínio Mandrak quite easily take care of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Salqueiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Miranda came free, but Hermínio Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermínio Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Humberto Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Piuval FC's Frederico Couto got control of the ball when Humberto Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piuval FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salqueiro SC for a fine match.
