After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Staffan Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional PR's supporters rose to their feet, but Staffan Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Carlos Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorian Valle hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jânio de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Arruda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Nacional PR's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nacional PR's Staffan Mager got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 34 in the game by Staffan Mager from a close distance when the talented Antônio Carlos Freire managed to make a qualified save. MURALHA FC's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the match Staffan Mager climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Antônio Carlos Freire. Gugu Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Gugu Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Carlos Freire was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staffan Mager in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Carlos Freire saved MURALHA FC from getting behind. Antônio Carlos Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antônio Carlos Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Staffan Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nacional PR reached it. When Nacional PR's Gugu Trancoso in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
