Aleandro Cabral scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magnus Engström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 minutes of play, Neris SS's Alan Batista made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magnus Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Neris SS's Paulo Renato Paraíba got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Edu Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Alvarenga in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Paulo Renato Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edu Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernardinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Neris SS's Paulo Renato Paraíba got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bernardinho do Vale made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Inácio Damião sent off a good shot on target. Magnus Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleandro Cabral's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes, Bernardinho Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MalibuFC and the Neris SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MalibuFC's Bernardinho Pereira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Edu Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho do Vale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 39th minute of play forced MalibuFC's goalkeeper Magnus Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Alvarenga went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 43rd minute of play forced MalibuFC's goalkeeper Magnus Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Saraiva was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aleandro Cabral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magnus Engström. The goal made the score 0-4. Aleandro Cabral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magnus Engström came out and tried to block the shot, but Aleandro Cabral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. Alan Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Saraiva in the 67th minute of play forced Neris SS's goalkeeper Bernardinho do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-6 became the score in the 71st minute when William Alvarenga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Saraiva in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardinho do Vale saved Neris SS from getting behind. Bernardinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Damião in the 80th minute of the match. Magnus Engström made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alan Batista sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Edu Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
