With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Monteiro in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Maranhense saved Tarquinho FC from getting behind. If Samuca Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Vitório Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Danilo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Tarquinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Macedo. Samuca Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cícero Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovani Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Almeida in the 56th minute of play forced Tranqueira SS's goalkeeper Cícero Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Geovani Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarquinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Maranhense having to interfere. Samuca Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Tarquinho FC's Mazinho Pena got a free kick in the 79th minute. A hard shot by Josué Bezerra from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Ricardo Maranhense's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Danilo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tarquinho FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Vitório Paraense hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Geovani Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cícero Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ricardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Tarquinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tranqueira SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Tranqueira SS.
