In the 6th minute, Dionísio Sá made a precise shot to the right of Raphael Hoffmann. Manchester United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Luiz Fábio Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Luiz Fábio Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernani Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Miguel Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United FC. Manchester United FC's Luiz Fábio Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raphael Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match SPFC WM got a corner. Manchester United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrão Cabral ran over to the corner to take the kick. SPFC WM's Pedrão Cabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Raphael Hoffmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Miguel Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Miguel Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionísio Sá hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

60 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Nóbrega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael Hoffmann. Manchester United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Nóbrega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 80th minute, Manchester United FC's Ernani Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 86 minutes in the game, Ernani Aguiar dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 87th match minute, SPFC WM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Lira to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Fábio Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SPFC WM's Diego Lira got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Luiz Fábio Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Paulinho Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SPFC WM booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SPFC WM's Cristóvão Nóbrega in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester United FC's goalie prevented a goal. SPFC WM were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
