Frango were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Tuna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdo Berger took the corner. Benjamim Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Félix in the 6th minute of play. Benjamim Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Teixeira in the 8th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Tuna's Caetano Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Frango:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tuna:s goal. Frango:s Benjamim Andrade showed great skill when he stopped Manolo Nunes:s penalty. Manolo Nunes scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamim Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamim Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Guedes in the 20th minute of the match. Jonas Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Benjamim Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuna. Caetano Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Frango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Mazza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jonas Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Eduardo Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lúcio Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benjamim Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Benjamim Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Tuna's Jonas Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gino Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benjamim Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caetano Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Guedes couldn't finish the play. Frango's Benjamim Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Guedes in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Tuna's Jonas Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Aguiar got free with Benjamim Andrade in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Eduardo Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamim Andrade was a little too slow when Caetano Guedes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Caetano Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caetano Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Andrade having to interfere. When Caetano Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Guedes couldn't finish the play. The Frango fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tuna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
