An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Brasil in the 26th minute of play forced Reed Thunder's goalkeeper Davi da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Davi da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Dias having to interfere. Mazinho Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Davi da Silveira made a huge save. Dito Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edu Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Sergipano in the 59th minute of the match. When Augusto Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Reed Thunder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cabral couldn't finish the play. Davi da Silveira came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Guayanas's Mazinho Brasil. But to his dismay, Mazinho Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayanas's goalkeeper Edu Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mazinho Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Guayanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Brasil couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guayanas booed when Reed Thunder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davi da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Varela in the 81st minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi da Silveira having to interfere. Augusto Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
