Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Washington Fantini got the match started through his kick off. Ronaldinho Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 6 played minutes Itarantim got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Penha. Laércio Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Valadares having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Washington Fantini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remo Valadares, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Washington Fantini notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Itarantim's Remo Valadares. Remo Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Mazza in the 21st minute of play forced Darabi's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mazza in the 27th minute of play. Remo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Cardoso in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Itarantim's Pedro Augusto Penha made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Custódio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Pedro Augusto Penha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 42nd minute, Pedro Augusto Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Washington Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Darabi's Laércio Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Custódio de Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Washington Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itarantim's Remo Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Seco in the 56th minute of play forced Itarantim's goalkeeper Remo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Anselmo Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Washington Fantini sped through Itarantim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remo Valadares. Custódio de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Hoffmann having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itarantim's zone, Laércio Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Valadares came out of the goal and Laércio Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Custódio de Carvalho got free with Ronaldinho Hoffmann in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Custódio de Carvalho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldinho Hoffmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Custódio de Carvalho slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Itarantim got a freekick which was hit by Michel Tande. Remo Valadares came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Darabi's Washington Fantini. But to his dismay, Washington Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Washington Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Remo Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itarantim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
