The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Galdino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cebolao:s goal. Flavinho Albuquerques short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Marcelinho Maia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jano Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hamílton Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Carvalho in the 29th minute of the match. Flavinho Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Maia having to interfere. Flavinho Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Maia made a huge save. William Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Flavinho Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marcelinho Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galdino.
