Rui Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Gerber's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Korff EC's Rui Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Korff EC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Rafinha Gerber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Trigo. Rafinha Gerber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 29th match minute, Korff EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Korff EC's zone, Paul Turner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Trigo came out of the goal and Paul Turner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Korff EC's goalkeeper Rui Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Turner. With a little luck, Korff EC's Rui Trigo got control of the ball when Paul Turner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Gerber in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Korff EC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Gerber came free, but Rui Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paul Turner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Sousa in the 46th minute of play forced Bossoroca's goalkeeper Clemente Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. Simão Gerber took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Trigo. Rui Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Bossoroca's goalkeeper Clemente Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adilson Breckenfeld. If Simão Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Trigo having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Adilson Breckenfeld had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Carioca. Bossoroca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adilson Breckenfeld was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Simão Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bossoroca's Bengt-Åke Wallin was substituted for Noel Guimarães. Bossoroca made a substitution. Marcinho Seco replaced Paul Turner. After a rather tough play, Korff EC's Armando Sousa got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Supardi in the 89th minute of play forced Korff EC's goalkeeper Rui Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korff EC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bossoroca had controlled the match.
