Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Deivid Mello took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Fausto Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbacena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Douglas Berger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Paulista, 1-0. A collision led to Wagner getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cléber Soeiro hit a great ball. Elias Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Bezerra in the 15th minute of play. Elias Paulista made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Álvaro Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. Deivid Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cauã Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Wagner's Michel da Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Hamílton Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Mello in the 28th minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Álvaro Gaúcho from a close distance when the talented Elias Paulista managed to make a qualified save. Barbacena FC's players were relieved. Barbacena FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Douglas Berger scored to the left of an out of position Elias Paulista, making the score, 3-0. Cléber Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cléber Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wagner getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cléber Soeiro hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Barbacena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Berger came free, but Elias Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Fausto Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Deivid Mello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hamílton Gaspar came out and tried to block the shot, but Deivid Mello slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Fausto Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hamílton Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Gaspar having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Michel da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wagner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. João Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Bezerra in the 71st minute of play forced Barbacena FC's goalkeeper Elias Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Wagner's João Salgado got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wagner's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Fausto Mendonça scored to the left of an out of position Hamílton Gaspar, making the score, 4-3. Elias Paulista came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Wagner's Douglas Berger. But to his dismay, Douglas Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. After a rather tough play, Barbacena FC's Marquinhos Motta got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hamílton Gaspar was a little too slow when Deivid Mello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 5-4.
