The wind increased when Jaime Arantes made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Madureira in the 52nd minute of the match. Sidney da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Pedro Luís Vides reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Renato Trigo. The goal made the score 0-1. Vieiras EC's Dalmo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Meira in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caceres's Arnaldo Ceresso got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Jaime Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caceres's Paulo Renato Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Arantes in the 80th minute of play forced Caceres's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Cruz's late challenge caught a Caceres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caceres booed when Vieiras EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caceres's Paulo Renato Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Caceres from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Caceres's Paulo Renato Trigo got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line.
