Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Neiva in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Paraibano saved Mariluz from getting behind. If Luís Eduardo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Bebeto Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rubinho Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio de Andrade having to interfere. Marcel Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Paraibano was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Marcel Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio de Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho Esteves to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Mariluz were awarded a corner. Romário Macedo went to the cornerflag to take it. 60 minutes into the match, Porco Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Esteves came free, but Luís Fábio de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fábio de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Esteves in the 95th minute of play.
