Daniel Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Paranaense in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Paulinho Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmir Neiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ediberto Antunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Eduardo do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmir Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ediberto Antunes made a huge save. Ricardinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Neiva having to interfere. In the 27th play minute Paulinho Araújo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ediberto Antunes. 1-0. Ediberto Antunes was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Walmir Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walmir Neiva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 37th minute Eduardo do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Neiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ediberto Antunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Walmir Neiva slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Amorim got free with Ediberto Antunes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

If Paulinho Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Paulinho Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC's Afonso Paraense got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ediberto Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC's Daniel Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo do Vale in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC's zone, Eduardo do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Neiva came out of the goal and Eduardo do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC made a substitution. Juarês de Amaral replaced Walmir Neiva. Ediberto Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Pachamama FC's Simão da Fonseca got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Pachamama FC defense, Rafael Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ediberto Antunes. The Pachamama FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ediberto Antunes should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC's goalkeeper Daniel Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pachamama FC's Ediberto Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Araújo in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Porto Alegre Obi-Wans FC had played much better football throughout.
