Jacinto Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Massa having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Benê Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Leme. Usina SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benê Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Algodoal FC's Custódio Meira got a free kick in the 21st minute. Elivélton Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Pirani struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Elano Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algodoal FC. Usina SS's Elano Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Saldanha in the 34th minute of play. Elivélton Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cauan Massa made a huge save. Algodoal FC's Cauan Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Algodoal FC from getting a goal against them. Mauro Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Cauan Massa made a huge save. The Usina SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Algodoal FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yuri Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Mauro Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algodoal FC's Cauan Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cauan Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Castro in the 52nd minute of the match. When Vágner Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algodoal FC's protests and gave Vágner Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Gláuber Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Usina SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Mauro Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 83rd minute when Giuseppe Pirani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Giuseppe Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Algodoal FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
