After 5 minutes, Ricardo Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orizona and the Atlético Rolim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fred Gummeson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Moisés Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Moisés Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moisés Paes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flávio Sarmento. Flávio Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 18 minutes, Fred Gummeson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Rolim FC and the Orizona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Atlético Rolim FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Gummeson. Orizona were furious when Osvaldinho Trevisan was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Orizona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Rolim FC:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Atlético Rolim FC. Marcelinho Peres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flávio Sarmento. 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Fred Gummeson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Orizona defense, Moisés Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Sarmento. The Orizona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Sarmento should have stopped the shot. Fred Gummeson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Gummeson was the one to do the kick off. Flávio Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Gummeson in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orizona's goalkeeper Flávio Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Paes went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Benjamim Abraão hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Paes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Paes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Atlético Rolim FC booed when Orizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orizona's Flávio Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Paes in the 83rd minute of play. Flávio Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Gummeson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Rafa Alves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Orizona's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Paes came free, but Flávio Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Rolim FC booed when Orizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Paes in the 95th minute of play forced Orizona's goalkeeper Flávio Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Rolim FC had played much better football throughout.
