In the 7thth minute of the game Raimundo Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEQUENO MILAGRE's Maurício Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Yan Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Arantes. Nacional Lukense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Vladimir Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim de Lara in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, PEQUENO MILAGRE's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Loyola came free, but Maurício Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan Perez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Vladimir Arantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maurício Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in PEQUENO MILAGRE's zone, Raimundo Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Faria came out of the goal and Raimundo Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Perez went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Yan Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Aparecido hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Kléber de Sena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, one of PEQUENO MILAGRE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PEQUENO MILAGRE. PEQUENO MILAGRE's Maurício Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Loyola in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Loyola to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Raimundo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Faria came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Lukense's Valdo Vianna. But to his dismay, Valdo Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. PEQUENO MILAGRE's Maurício Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Loyola in the 66th minute of play. Yan Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vladimir Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional Lukense's zone, Yan Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Nacional Lukense's Cícero Paraíba got a free kick in the 75th minute. The tension between the Nacional Lukense and the PEQUENO MILAGRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nacional Lukense! César Guimarães walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 90th minute, Yan Perez made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Arantes. Nacional Lukense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Valdo Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Maurício Faria made a huge save. Vladimir Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PEQUENO MILAGRE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
