Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Cavalcante took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cláudio Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xabat Rodrigo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Valadares in the 5th minute of play forced Arnoreso FC's goalkeeper Christiano Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Cláudio Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Décio Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraizo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 11 played minutes Paraizo got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Abraão. If Dudu Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaltino Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Christiano Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Valadares in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Dudu Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Arnoreso FC defense, Juarês Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Borges. The Arnoreso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Borges should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Paraizo's goalkeeper Xabat Rodrigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio Dionísio. Cláudio Cavalcante was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Arnoreso FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 43rd minute, Cláudio Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 played minutes Paraizo got a freekick which was hit by Régis Ortiz. Xabat Rodrigo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Denílson Terra. Olívio Dionísios short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Xabat Rodrigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Xabat Rodrigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olívio Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Dionísio in the 63rd minute of play forced Paraizo's goalkeeper Xabat Rodrigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraizo's Xabat Rodrigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Dionísio in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Cláudio Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnoreso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cláudio Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xabat Rodrigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonathan Pernambucano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Xabat Rodrigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Cavalcante in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Jacinto in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olívio Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Xabat Rodrigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xabat Rodrigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paraizo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
