Gustavo Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 played minutes Nhamunda got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Macedo. With his leg Hubert Brürs managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Granada's Flavinho Tinoco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joel Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nhamunda's Duda Paiva was substituted for Chicão Arce. Nhamunda made a substitution. Leopoldo das Neves replaced Joel Corrêa. Nhamunda's Clóvis Brito was substituted for Décio Tróia. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo das Neves went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Nhamunda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo das Neves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gustavo Trigo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nhamunda! Iuri da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gustavo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo das Nevess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Gustavo Trigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Leopoldo das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Iuri da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Araújo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Granada's Gustavo Trigo got control of the ball when Iuri da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Vitinho Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Brürs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vitinho Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nhamunda's Enéas Guimarães got a free kick in the 97th minute. Cristian Araújo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hubert Brürs. Nhamunda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Granada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nhamunda's performance. The match ended with a win for Nhamunda.
