Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcos Gomes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Marcos Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Laércio Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Gomes in the 12th minute of play forced Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Laércio Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Armando Proença to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute of the match Abelardo Guimarães shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Dante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Armando Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Armando Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Proença having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Uacurizal FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Guimarães. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Proença. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Uacurizal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edu Mumbach in the 31st minute. When Cristiano Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Uacurizal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Meirelles couldn't finish the play. Marcos Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armando Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Uacurizal FC's Armando Proença got control of the ball when Laércio Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umas SS's Diogo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Laércio Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Gomes in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Meirelles to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Cristiano Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uacurizal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Toscano in the 56th minute of the match. Vítor Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Armando Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Secco's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Marcos Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Secco in the 72nd minute of play forced Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Uacurizal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Botelho. Marcos Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Laércio Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Uacurizal FC's Vítor Dante threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Meirelles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee ended the match the Umas SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
