Amauri Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Travassos got free with Décio Guedes in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Mané de Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Décio Guedes to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th minute, Guga Vianna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Décio Guedes. The goal made the score 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Pontes in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abucari SS's Décio Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Abucari SS from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Abucari SS's goalkeeper Décio Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Travassos. In the 21st minute, Carlos Renaux's Mané de Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Décio Guedes. Décio Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Carlos Renaux's zone, José Vítor Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Vaz came out of the goal and José Vítor Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Travassos got free with Décio Guedes in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jos Meertens took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Vaz. Iuri Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 48 minutes into the match, Carlos Renaux's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Lopez came free, but Iuri Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mané de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Carlos Renaux's Mané de Queirós to fire away a dangerous shot which Décio Guedes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute Mané de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Carlos Renaux's Angelo Cearense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Décio Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Toninho de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Décio Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Travassos went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When José Vítor Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Abucari SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vítor Lopez couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Abucari SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Travassos came free, but Décio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
