Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Benjamim Negri made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Benjamim Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anati EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cafu Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caranahyba AD's zone, Cafu Vergílio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Hermes came out of the goal and Cafu Vergílio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Caranahyba AD booed when Anati EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Simões's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Eduardo Tróia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th minute, Carlos Fernando Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Hermes came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Anati EC's Cafu Vergílio. But to his dismay, Cafu Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Durvalino Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Varela hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Caranahyba AD's Cássio Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Negri in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo Terra made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Anati EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Tróia having to interfere. Tiago Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Durvalino Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cafu Vergílio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 66th playminute. In the 69th minute Benjamim Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Vergílio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Cássio Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Eduardo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Terra in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Caranahyba AD's Cássio Hermes got control of the ball when Cafu Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Paulista hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Durvalino Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caranahyba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anati EC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Caranahyba AD got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Simões. After some careless play in the Caranahyba AD defense, Cafu Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Hermes. The Caranahyba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Hermes should have stopped the shot. Dieguinho Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cássio Hermes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Anati EC's Cafu Vergílio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-4 in the ordered_time% minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anati EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
