Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brazil-Goias's Acácio Hermes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Betão Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Brazil-Goias's Zé Roberto Cardozo got control of the ball when Pedro Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Hermes in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dé Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes, Mauro Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chambica SC and the Brazil-Goias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Brazil-Goias got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Hermes. In the 38th minute of the match, Betão Guedes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zé Roberto Cardozo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 46th minute, Eriberto Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrado Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Brazil-Goias's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Leal came free, but Zé Roberto Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Brazil-Goias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeu Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After 99 played minutes, Chambica SC's Betão Guedes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Roberto Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chambica SC reached it.
