Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Breno Saraiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Queirós in the 4th minute of play. Cristian Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Morro de São Paulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas de Queirós. Breno Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Morro de São Paulo FC booed when Dique FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Saraiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Azevedo having to make a save. If Leonides Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dique FC's Cristian Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Saraiva in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Dique FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cafu Donato hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Ramalho made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Morro de São Paulo FC's Humberto Zilles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Breno Saraiva had several of the Dique FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Cristian Azevedo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zé Carlos Rodrigues took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Vianna. Eduardo Vianna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Cristian Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Saraiva in the 67th minute of the match. Cristian Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Breno Saraiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 71 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Saraiva in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morro de São Paulo FC's Breno Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Breno Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro de São Paulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morro de São Paulo FC's Arthur Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dique FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Arthur Saldanha scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Azevedo, making the score, 1-5. The Dique FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Morro de São Paulo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
