Edmundo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Furtado in the 33rd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Felipe do Rufa City's goalkeeper Edmundo Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celsinho Gonçalves. 42 minutes into the match, Costao's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Gaúcho came free, but Joel de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Paulo Renato Gaúcho scored to the left of an out of position Joel de Amorim, making the score, 0-3. Felipe do Rufa City's Paulo Renato Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dorian Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Felipe do Rufa City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Urbano couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Emerson Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Felipe do Rufa City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
