Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carovi's Lino Zilles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Costa in the 4th minute of play forced Carovi's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Arósio's late challenge caught a Carovi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carovi booed when Escalvado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when João Augusto Dantas sped through Escalvado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natanael Pernambucano. In the 20th minute, Amílton da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, Carovi's Kauã Leão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carovi reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Dantas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian Mota lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Escalvado! The referee gave Carovi a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kauã Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Escalvado's Natanael Pernambucano. 0-2. Natanael Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Kiko de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiko de Alcântara to make the kick off. Enéas Matos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Lino Zilles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Natanael Pernambucano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natanael Pernambucano stood somewhat misplaced when João Augusto Dantas came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 57 minute. Natanael Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Dantas in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Escalvado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, João Augusto Dantas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Escalvado's Natanael Pernambucano. Natanael Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lino Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Pernambucano having to interfere. Lino Zilles struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Natanael Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carovi. João Augusto Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Pernambucano having to interfere. Escalvado's Natanael Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Dantas in the 82nd minute of play. Natanael Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Augusto Dantas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carovi's zone, Kiko de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Couto came out of the goal and Kiko de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Dantas in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Carovi got a freekick which was hit by Lino Zilles. A hard shot 92 in the game by Lino Zilles from a close distance when the talented Natanael Pernambucano managed to make a qualified save. Escalvado's players were relieved. Carovi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
