If João Francisco de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Arnaldo Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Elder Cardozo. Brococo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 88thth minute of the game Arnaldo Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brococo's Elder Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Cardozo having to interfere. If Felipe Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Brococo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Genebra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
