Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júlio Maciel started the match with the kick off. Jano Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Maciel in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Jua booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Décio Munhoz hit a great ball. Jano Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Leão in the 15th minute of the match. Júlio Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Munhoz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Maciel in the 22nd minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Jano Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Tomás de Souza got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jano Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Maciel in the 26th minute of the match. Sandro Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Eger having to interfere. A collision led to Jua getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bruninho Brasil hit a great ball. Jua's Sandro Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Danilo Duarte got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Júlio Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jua's zone, Tomás de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibúrcio Corrêa came out of the goal and Tomás de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás de Souza was the one to do the kick off. If David Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Tottenham booed when Jua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sandro Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Ruy Meira got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marcus Martins's late challenge caught a Jua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Martins helped the player get up and apologised. 64 minutes into the game, one of Tottenham:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jano Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Sandro Leão kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 79thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Tottenham's keeper Jano Eger was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 79 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Duarte. David Neves took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibúrcio Corrêa. Tibúrcio Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 95th minute, Danilo Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jano Eger went to the wrong direction when Nelson Nogueira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
