Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrique Tepedino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, Ione AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Leonel Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Espanha AD booed when Ione AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Caetano de Andrade successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Espanha AD's Dadá Magalhães got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Henrique Tepedino took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luís Pontes. Sílvio Luís Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sydney Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Caetano de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Henrique Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ione AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Marcelo Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ione AD's Caetano de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Bezerra during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Cesinha Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ione AD's Chiquinho Azevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Espanha AD. The Espanha AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ione AD were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Espanha AD's Marcelo Severo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Marcelo Severo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Caetano de Andrade. After some careless play in the Ione AD defense, Marcelo Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano de Andrade. The Ione AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano de Andrade should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Marcelo Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Caetano de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Espanha AD's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rony Alagoano. Marcelo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Caetano de Andrade didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Espanha AD's Cesinha Bezerra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Kauan Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Caetano de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano de Andrade came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Espanha AD's Marcelo Severo. But to his dismay, Marcelo Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Espanha AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
