After some careless play in the Aruata SC defense, Zézinho Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléber Barreto. The Aruata SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléber Barreto should have stopped the shot. Augusto Baiano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
