Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arthur Carioca made the kick off which started today's match. Gildo Lopez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Kléber Barreto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tarcisio Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute of the match Nelsinho Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deivid Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Gildo Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kléber Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Vieira in the 15th minute of play. João Augusto Mineiro took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deivid Guerra. Deivid Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match, Gonçalo Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kléber Barreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 25 minutes into the match Tarcisio Vieira climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Kléber Barreto. After having played for 30 minutes, Tarcisio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If João Augusto Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Arthur Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Carioca in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Aruata SC's Kléber Barreto got control of the ball when Gildo Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Leal's late challenge caught a Naje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Leal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aruata SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcelo Leal hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tarcisio Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game, João Augusto Mineiro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When João Augusto Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aruata SC's protests and gave João Augusto Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aruata SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. João Augusto Mineiro hit a great ball. After 61 minutes Naje's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Luiz Meira who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that André Luiz Meira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Deivid Guerra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. João Augusto Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Guerra having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Naje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Aruata SC's zone, Gildo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Barreto came out of the goal and Gildo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Magalhães hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Aruata SC's Kléber Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Vieira in the 88th minute of play. The Aruata SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Naje from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
