Alfredinho Zonta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Ciro Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, one of fc barcelona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for fc barcelona. Benjamin Quirino had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Thiago Rodrigues's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Felipe de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Chicão Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Neves during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Taperao EC's Felipe de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Taperao EC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Vinhas got free with Felipe de Castro in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. fc barcelona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
